The AccessoryFit editorial team
AccessoryFit pages are published by the AccessoryFit editors as a team rather than under individual names. The team researches manufacturer specifications, manuals and published standards and records each fact with its sources. Page drafts are written with AI writing assistance from that record, and every figure on a page comes from it. The team does not test products, and no page is presented as the work of a named expert.

What does the editorial team do?
It does four jobs: researching sources, recording facts, writing pages and keeping them correct.
- Researching: finding the maker's spec pages, manuals and safety documents for each tool and accessory, and the standards and regulator rules that apply.
- Recording: entering each value in the shared fact base with its unit, the documents that support it and the date it was checked, and noting where sources disagree or only one source exists.
- Writing: building each guide from the fact base with AI writing assistance, answering the reader's question first, giving inch and metric values, and adding safety notes where a mismatch could cause injury.
- Maintaining: checking reports of errors against the sources, correcting the fact base and rebuilding the pages that use a changed value.
The rules the team follows are set out on the methodology page.
Most of that work lands in two places: the guides on what fits which tool, where arbors, shanks, collets and pads are matched to models, and the size charts, where drill, tap, pilot hole and grit tables are kept in step with their sources.

What does the editorial team not do?
The team does not test, use, measure or review products by hand, and no page says it does. It does not give ratings, scores, rankings or prices, and it does not accept payment or free products from makers in exchange for coverage. It does not present itself as a credentialed tradesperson or engineer, and pages carry no invented names or qualifications. It does not give advice that goes beyond what makers and regulators publish; for anything specific to your tool, the manual comes first.
Why are pages published under a team name?
Because every page is built from the same shared fact base and checked against the same rules, and the value of a page rests on its sources rather than on who typed it. Each page's References section shows exactly which documents support it, which is the way to judge its accuracy.

How do you reach the editors?
Through the contact page. Corrections that name the page, the value and the document that gives a different figure are the quickest to check. The about page explains what the site covers and how it is funded.
